Elizabeth Kokosinski


Elizabeth Kokosinski represents individuals, estates, and businesses before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Massachusetts Department of Revenue. She is a former Revenue Agent with the IRS, SBSE division. Elizabeth received her Master of Laws Degree in Taxation from Suffolk University Law School and is a Certified Public Accountant.


Elizabeth counsels clients with federal and state tax controversies, including:

  • Examination Defense:
    • Income Tax Audits and examination, including calculation of correct tax liability, and minimizing penalties and interest

    • FBAR, and Form 8938 reporting requirements, including submissions to the Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program, Streamlined Domestic and Foreign Procedures
    • Foreign bank account analysis, currency conversions, stock valuation, foreign tax credits and transactions, calculations of capital gains and losses of assets, and PFIC
